Can I reconfigure my router DNS to a DNS resolver?
Our routers can be reconfigured to a DNS resolver, and some customers choose this to enhance the speed of their broadband connection.
Can I change my router DNS settings myself?
If you wish to change the DNS IP address that our router issues to LAN devices you can request this by providing the details to the Grain Support team who can make this change for you. Alternatively, you can request access to the admin control panel of the router to make this change (and other changes to your LAN) yourself — Although this will also need to be requested as this ability is currently disabled by default.
We’re still in the process of updating our service to give are continually looking at ways of improving our service and one of these is where customers admin control of their routers, is enabled by default however we do not currently have a timescale for enabling this.
