How do I cancel my contract?
Cancel Grain account: How to stop your services with us
While we’re sad to see customers leave our services, we understand that circumstances can change. That’s why we’ve made the steps to cancel Grain accounts as simple as possible, and we’ve outlined a couple of options for current Grain customers.
Fees for cancelling Grain accounts
If you wish to cancel during your Grain contract, a cancellation fee is payable, as per our terms and conditions. This cancellation fee is a minimum of £15 per month for the remainder of your contract. You may also be liable for some other costs at this point, such as any outstanding payments.
Do I need to cancel my Grain account if I’m moving home?
If you’re moving home and you’re currently a Grain customer, then you might be able to take us with you. If your new home is serviced by Grain, then your existing contract with us won’t be affected and won’t need to stop – there’ll be no need to start afresh and it’s one less thing you need to worry about as you begin unpacking. Simply complete our moving home form on our website to update the details on your account.
If the home you are moving to cannot be serviced by one of our home broadband packages, we may waive the fees to cancel Grain accounts if you can provide clear evidence – such as a tenancy agreement or proof of sale. Until we receive these documents, your account will be charged as a normal cancellation.
