Contract Manager

We are recruiting for the above position in Bristol, Nuneaton & Reading.

The working hours will be 37.5 hour per week, which will be worked Monday – Friday between 9am – 5pm.

About this role

This role involves managing the delivery of several FTTP projects, from civils through to cabling. The successful candidate will be the escalation point for both internal and external customers should any questions/challenges arise.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience within Telecoms and FTTP civils deployment, Local Authority relationships and a keen eye for quality and Health and Safety on site. To install our own duct network in towns and cities across the UK, we need an efficient Contract Manager to manage and assist the civils suppliers on site, and ensure projects are built in a timely and cost effective way.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage site delivery, with regular visits to site, ensuring we have a smooth delivery programme in place
  • Liaise with sub-contractors and local authorities, and report site status to the business in regular intervals
  • Ensure any installation queries/challenges are addressed, resolved, or escalated
  • Ensure the project is progressing within budget
  • Manage Health and Safety on site, for both our teams and the public
  • Drive accountability across departments ensuring that all stake holders are delivering to project
  • Communicate any requirements/changes to process to all departments
  • Help identify and prioritise new area builds that are mutually beneficial

Experience required

  • 2-3 years of experience in Telecoms project delivery
  • Experience managing projects across multiple stakeholders
  • Experience working with design schematics, duct diagrams and work instructions
  • Knowledge of underground duct network and utilities
  • NRSWA supervisors qualification
  • SROH knowledge
  • TMA knowledge
  • HSG(47) compliant
  • Commercially aware
  • Experience following workplace policy and procedure
