HOW TO SWITCH TO GRAIN
Calling all Plusnet customers!
HOW DO I SWITCH FROM PLUSNET TO GRAIN?
If you’re thinking about leaving Plusnet and switching to Grain, great choice! Here’s how to cancel your Plusnet service and make the move without the hassle. Because our network is fully independent, there’s no need to arrange a same-day switch—you can keep both services running in parallel to avoid any downtime during the transition.

Check your contract
Start by checking your Plusnet contract to see when you can cancel and whether any early termination charges apply.
You can do this by logging into your account at plus.net, or by calling their customer service team on 0800 432 0200 to ask how to cancel your Plusnet service.

Order a Grain package
Next, choose your Grain package! We offer full fibre speeds from 150Mb to 900Mb, with symmetrical upload and download speeds for a consistently smooth connection. You can also add extras like a digital phone line, static IP or Wi-Fi extender. Thinking about leaving Plusnet but want to keep your current phone number? Just let us know before you cancel your Plusnet service, and we’ll handle the transfer.
Once your order’s in, we’ll be in touch to schedule your installation on a day that suits you. Switching broadband really can be that easy!

Give your notice
If you’re still under contract with Plusnet, you’ll usually need to give 14 days’ notice to cancel your Plusnet service. Be sure to check your terms for any early termination charges, especially if you're within your minimum commitment period.
You might avoid Plusnet exit fees if you’ve had very slow speeds, mid-contract price hikes or unresolved service issues. We recommend waiting until your Grain installation is live before cancelling to avoid any downtime.
