HOW DO I SWITCH FROM EE TO GRAIN?
If you’re thinking about leaving EE and switching to Grain, great choice! Here’s how to cancel your EE service and make the move without any hassle. Because our network is fully independent, there’s no need to coordinate a same-day switch—you can keep both services running side by side to ensure a smooth transition with no downtime.

Check your contract
Start by checking your EE contract to find out when you can cancel and whether any early termination charges apply.
You can do this by logging into your MyEE account or calling EE on 0800 079 8586 to ask how to cancel your EE service.

Order a Grain package
Next, choose your Grain package! We offer full fibre speeds from 150Mb to 900Mb, with symmetrical upload and download speeds for a reliable, high-performance connection. You can also add extras like a digital phone line, static IP or Wi-Fi extender. Thinking about leaving EE but want to keep your number? Just let us know before you cancel your EE service, and we’ll handle the transfer for you.
After you’ve placed your order, we’ll contact you to schedule an installation on a date that works best for you. It’s that easy!

Give your notice
If you’re still under contract with EE, you’ll usually need to give 30 days’ notice to cancel your EE service. Check your terms to see if early termination charges apply, especially if you're within your minimum commitment period. If you’re thinking about leaving EE, it’s also worth checking whether you can keep any extras like sports channels after switching.
You might avoid these fees if you’ve had very slow speeds, in-contract price hikes, or unresolved service complaints (We recommend not cancelling anything until we’ve completed your Grain installation).
