The results are in!
Just three weeks since the Grain team kicked off our Step Challenge to walk the length of the UK, stopping over at some of our sites along the way including Steward Milne’s Countesswells in Aberdeen, Taylor Wimpey’s Foxley Meadows in Market Weighton, Keepmoat’s Hedgerows in Chesterfield and finishing up at Dandara’s Windroos Nursery in Littlehampton.
Our team completed the Step Challenge seeing us take a total of 5,280,000 steps on walks in our back gardens, local parks and site visits.
Some notable and very deserving mentions are Kudzai Mupotsa who was the top contributor overall with 600,442 steps and William Irvine who has left the rest of the team in his rear view with 50,042 steps completed in a single day.
The Step Challenge encouraged the team to work together to achieve this goal ahead of the predicated schedule and managed to complete it within three weeks.
Well done to the entire team! Following the massive success of this remote team building exercise, we’re setting our sights on the next fun challenge which we will be opening up to friends of Grain to participate in as well. Stay tuned.
