At Grain, we like to keep it simple, which is why we understand that when you switch broadband provider, you often need to switch your phone service too. That’s why we let you take both, but we don’t make you pay line rental like some providers!

What is VoIP?
VoIP, also known as ‘Voice over Internet Protocol’, is essentially a digital telephone service that allows you to use your broadband connection to make and receive calls.
With a VoIP phone line, you still need a telephone handset and phone number, but calls are made and received over the internet – instead of a copper cable.
Basically, it works like Facetime or Skype – you make calls over your internet connection, so you don’t need to pay any additional line rental!

How do I get a Grain phone package?

Plus, we give you the option to keep your current phone number – even when switching from another provider. Remember, to transfer your number, you’ll need an active account with your old provider (and an active Grain account).
