We have hit a new milestone in our growth journey – with more than 30,000 customers now enjoying a Grain broadband service.

Grain is growing quickly, and we are proud to announce that this week, we connected up our 30,000th customer to our network!

Our growth has come predominantly from new customers across more than 50 UK towns and cities including Carlisle, Birmingham, Blackpool, Bolton, Bradford, Grimsby, Hartlepool, Hull, Liverpool, Manchester, Middlesbrough, Newcastle, North Shields, Oldham and Sunderland.

Feedback from customers is that our commitment to never increase prices during a fixed term contract is welcome, and they are fed up with constant price rises from their previous providers.

We also pledge never to use unpopular an unsightly telegraph poles on our network, which has been very well received by customers who feel frustrated about the lack of consultation on these poles.

Grain continues to grow and is already driving towards the next milestone, with thousands more homes due to go live on the network and more in the pipeline, including on more than 150 New Build developments across the country.

Richard Cameron, CEO of Grain said of the achievement: “We are proud that we are truly delivering on our mission to provide the UK with a better choice for broadband and supporting 30,000 customers to go Full Fibre with better speeds, greater reliability and value for money.

“With 220,000 homes ready for service on our network that have been live for an average of around 10 months, this shows that customers are quickly making the move to Grain as soon as we go live on their street, and we are achieving a similar take-up rate on our premises to that which Openreach has been achieving on homes live over the same time period.

“Thank you to our customers for making the move to Grain and to our colleagues and partners who make this possible.”
