This Price Guide applies to Grain Connect residential customers. If you have signed up to a fixed price contract and you are still within your minimum term, we will never increase your price before your minimum term ends.

Fibre broadband products

Superfast 150 (Also previously known as Superfast, Superfast 100, Fibre 100 and Superfast Essential)

Wi-fi extenders

Wi-fi extenders can be purchased with a one-off payment, or rented alongside your broadband package with a monthly payment.

From 1 January 2024

  • One-off purchase – £59.99
  • Monthly rental – £4.99 per month

Prior to 1 January 2024

  • One-off purchase – £99.99
  • Monthly rental – £6.00 per month

Note: Wi-fi extender is included with Plus and Total Home broadband products.

Static IP

We charge a standard price for the monthly rental of a Static IP.

From 1 March 2024 – £4.99 per month

Prior to 1 March 2024 – £5.00 per month

Phone products

The following subscription charges apply to sales of our phone products. Price changes apply to the phone prices set out below. All our phone packages are on a rolling 30-day contract. Any price changes will only apply once your minimum 30-day term has ended.

  • Unlimited Everyday/ Anytime Landline – £7.99 per month

Early termination charges

Depending on when you signed up, the following Early Termination Charges will apply. You can request an Early Termination Charge from us at any time by calling our Customer Service Team on 0330 223 2266.

Please note that other Charges will apply in certain circumstances, for example if you fail to return equipment where required.

On or after 30 May 2023
• Early Termination Charges apply to Services ended within the Minimum Period of your Agreement.
• There is a Minimum Period for all of our Services.
• If you cancel within the Minimum Period, you’ll have to pay the Early Termination Charge.
• The amount of the Early Termination Charge depends on the package you signed up to and how long is left to run of the Minimum Period.
• Early termination charges are subject to VAT.

The Early Termination Charge is the remaining amount you would have paid up to the end of your Minimum Period. From that we deduct:

• VAT;
• any costs we save from your Agreement ending early, for example payments to suppliers; and
• a discount of 2% for early receipt of payment.

We then add VAT to give the final Early Termination Charge.

As an example:
• You sign up to an 18-month contract paying £30 per month.
• You choose to cancel your contract, with five months remaining in the Minimum Period.
• Your remaining amount to pay is £150 (5 x £30).
• VAT is then removed at 20%, leaving £120 (£150 – 20% (£30) = £120).
• The costs we save from the agreement ending early are then deducted. These could contain the cost of payments to suppliers for example. Assuming in this example this amounts to £5, your new total is £115. (£120 – £5 = £115)
• If payment is made within the given time period, you will save 2%, which makes the new total £112.70. (£115 – 2% (£2.30) = £112.70)
• VAT is then added back in at 20%, which gives a final Early Termination Charge of £135.24. (£112.70 + 20% (£22.54) = £135.24)

• The charges below will apply to services cancelled within the minimum term.
• Early Termination Charges are subject to VAT.
• Charges can be seen below and will apply to services cancelled within the minimum term.

Note: A maximum charge of £150 will apply regardless of the product or term remaining when services are cancelled.

Superfast – £15.00 per month
Ultrafast – £15.00 per month
Hyperfast Total Home – £15.00 per month
Gigafast Total Home – £15.00 per month

Cooling off charge

If you cancel within the 14-day cooling off period, we will charge you £40 towards the cost we have incurred in installing and connecting you to the service.

Other charges

Home Move Fee – £25.00 – This fee will be waived for the first home move in any 12-month period.

Late Payment – £2.50 – If we try to take your payment and the payment request fails, we will allow 7 days for you to make payment. If payment is not made within 7 days, we may apply a Late Payment fee to cover our administration costs associated with this failed payment. These charges are not subject to VAT.

Reconnection Fee – £10.00 – If your contract has been terminated and we agree to provide you with service again, after you have made payment, we may apply a reconnection fee to cover our administration costs.

Non-Direct Debit (DD) Charge – £5.00 – It is a requirement that you maintain an active DD on your account for the duration of your contract. If you cancel your DD then we will charge you a fee to cover the additional administration costs that we will incur per invoice until you re-establish an active DD on your account. In addition, if, for exceptional reasons, we agree to accept a payment method from you other than by direct debit, we will charge you a non-Direct Debit charge for not paying by DD.

Non-Standard Installation – £150.00 – If you require an installation that is not in line with our standard installation offering, we will apply a charge to cover our additional costs.

Standard Call Out Charge – £150.00 – If we visit your property to repair a fault that is a result of your equipment being faulty then we may charge a Standard Call Out fee to cover our costs. If we need to provide replacement equipment, we may also charge for this equipment in addition to the call out fee.

Missed Appointment – £100.00 – If we agree with you to visit your property to undertake work that you have requested and we are unable to gain access to the property, we will raise a charge to cover our costs.

Wi-fi Router – £120.00 – If we need to provide a replacement for your Wifi router as a result of damage that you have caused, we will raise a charge of up to £120.00.

Wi-fi Router Upgrade – £99.00– If you request an upgrade to any new router product currently available, we will raise a charge for this router and installation.

Wi-fi Router and Wi-fi Extender Upgrade – £119.99 – If you request an upgrade to any new router and wi-fi extender product currently available, we will raise a charge for this router, extender and installation.

Renumber – £25.00 – If you request a change of number after your contract has commenced, we will raise a charge for this.

GTU Installation – £150.00

Unreturned Wi-fi Extender – £80.00 – If you do not return equipment to us as agreed, for example when you cancel your contract, we will raise a charge of up to £80.00.

Unreturned 4G Router – £150.00 – If you do not return equipment to us as agreed, for example when you cancel your contract, we will raise a charge of up to £150.00.

Connection Fee – £100.00 – If you choose to sign up to a rolling monthly contract, we will charge a connection fee to do so.

Other charges

Moving Premise Fee – £20.84 (Excl. VAT), £25.00 (Incl. VAT) – This fee will be waived for the first premises move in any 12-month period.

Non-Standard Installation – £125.00 (Excl. VAT), £150.00 (Incl. VAT) – If you require an installation that is not in line with our standard installation offering, we will apply a charge to cover our additional costs.

Standard Call Out Charge – £125.00 (Excl. VAT), £150.00 (Incl. VAT) – If we visit your property to repair a fault that is a result of your misuse of or damage to our equipment, then we may charge a Standard Call Out fee to cover our costs. If we need to provide replacement equipment, we may also charge for this equipment in addition to the call out fee.

Missed Appointment – £83.34 (Excl. VAT), £100.00 (Incl. VAT) – If we agree with you to visit your property to undertake work that you have requested and we are unable to gain access to the property, we will raise a charge to cover our costs

Wi-fi Router Replacement – £100.00 (Excl. VAT), £120.00 (Incl. VAT) If we need to provide a replacement for your Wi-fi router as a result of damage that you have caused, we will raise a charge for this.

Re-number – £20.84 (Excl. VAT), £25.00 (Incl. VAT) – If you request a change of number after your contract has commenced, we will raise a charge for this.

GTU Installation – £125.00 (Excl. VAT), £150.00 (Incl. VAT).
