FAQs about switching to Grain broadband
-
How can I check if Grain is available in my area?
The quickest way to check availability is to use our postcode checker. Simply enter your postcode to see whether Grain Full Fibre is available at your address and compare the packages currently on offer.
-
Why should I choose Grain?
We’re committed to providing a quality Full Fibre broadband service that is affordable, too!
This means, while other providers are raising their prices in-contract, we’re giving our customers peace of mind with fixed price contracts. Plus, with our Price Match Guarantee, you’ll always get the best available broadband deals from Grain!
-
Is there any downtime during a switch?
One Touch Switch is designed to minimise downtime. Once your new Grain service is installed, your current provider will be notified and action the cancellation of the old service, meaning you should never be left without a broadband service.
-
What’s the difference between part fibre and Full Fibre?
With part-fibre, there is copper somewhere between the internet and your home – no doubt slowing down your service.
With Full Fibre, fibre optic cable is used from the data centre to your home. Zero copper.
