Recent updates make it clear broadband is a must have on property listings.

If you’re planning a house move, there’s some good news from the Government that could make finding your next home (and broadband provider) a lot easier.

A new Government consultation has been launched to make property listings more transparent — and it finally recognises broadband and mobile signal as key pieces of information that homebuyers and renters need upfront.

This means that soon, every home listing will need to show the type of broadband connection and the speeds available – before you even step through the door.

🌐 Broadband is now a key part of home life

The consultation recognises what most of us already know – that broadband is an essential utility. That’s why it’s great to see broadband availability and speeds listed alongside water, heating, and council tax as must-have details for buyers and renters.

After all, when you fall in love with a new home, you don’t want to find out later that the Wi-Fi can’t keep up.
