Ofcom reveals most complained about providers

Ofcom has revealed its latest quarterly figures showing the most complained about broadband providers.

Read on to see if your provider tops the naughty list…

Worst broadband providers in the UK

Ofcom have announced the unfortunate recipients of having the most complaints:

  1. EE tops the list, with customers unhappy about faults, service, provisioning as well as complaint handling and billing, pricing and charges.
  2. TalkTalk has seen an increase in complaints since the last reported figures, with a higher-than-average number of complaints about billing, pricing and charges at 19%.
  3. Vodafone has seen an increase in complaints since last quarter, with a higher-than-average number of complaints about faults, service and provisioning at 45%.
  4. BT also joins the list, with more complaints per 100,000 than the average provider in the industry. You can read the full Ofcom article here.

While we can’t say we are surprised to see these stats, we are disappointed that our industry isn’t doing better. Especially when you see that 18% of all complaints are linked to billing, pricing and charges – maybe those in-contract price rises are to blame?
