Reading’s residents can benefit from our new Full Fibre broadband network, which is now live in the area. The rollout and investment of the state-of-the-art infrastructure, allows residents to experience some of the fastest broadband speeds at affordable prices.
The community will be able to reach Gigafast speeds, with a dedicated fibre cable direct to each home and business. This technology means the service is much faster than traditional copper networks, which only take fibre to the cabinet, relying on customers sharing a connection and speeds with their neighbours.
Currently, the average internet speed in Reading is 109Mb, with speeds fluctuating between 34Mb and 185Mb. This average speed is 5% lower than the UK average of 114 Mbps, meaning that with the new accessibility of our own fibre optic network, residents can access up to 26.5x faster broadband speeds.
The average cost of Broadband in Reading is £28.54 per month, now, with access to our network, residents can reserve 3 months of Full Fibre broadband for only £1, with discounted prices from only £19.99 for the full 18-month contract. This enables residents to save up to £210.87 compared to the average cost in the area. Other benefits include a free router, free installation, no line rental costs, no postage and packaging, and no set-up or admin fees. Not to mention, no in-contract price rises- ever.
